Bathroom Bloopers, week one

Only what actually happened. Funny if it earned it. Not invented. Not mean to the people who clean the room.

Two hosts, one old chrome

poopmap.org got bought on Replit and SSL finally landed, which should have been the week we looked expensive. For a stretch both hosts still served the old “POOP MAP — compliments of FarePlay.Blog” chrome, like the domain had arrived and the name had not.

WeFlush came back. The gold is the point. See the map.

Pretty River and Devil’s Glen, official nothing

Pretty River Valley Provincial Park is official: no washrooms. Devil’s Glen Provincial Park is official: no toilets.

If you are looping the hills, the parks will not save you. We do not invent a stall to be polite, and there is no pin for a room that is not there.

Wasaga Marriott, target 2029

The Wasaga Marriott is still unbuilt. Target 2029.

A press release is not a lobby, and a lobby is not a pin. Come back when there is a door.

Haisai went dark

Haisai, on the Singhampton corridor, is closed. Closed rooms do not get a courtesy pin.

The corridor still feeds you. The closed dining room does not.

Clarksburg and Eigensinn stayed off

Georgian Hills and Spy Cider in Clarksburg failed a clean geocode, so they stayed off the map. Eigensinn Farm has no OSM house, so it was never pinned.

Missing is not a vibe. It is a coordinate we refused to guess.

Four hundred Tims, filed under avoid

OSM tagged most Tim Hortons as cafe, not fast_food, so they hid in the wrong bucket. We added 400 of them as avoid.

They are on the map so you can skip them on purpose. Start at a Tim Hortons pin.

Next issue ships only if something happens.
